Joy Rothschild, WHNP

Joy is thrilled to join Synergy Women’s Health as a women’s health nurse practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience providing patient centered, trauma informed care to women throughout their life stages.

Joy began her career as a WHNP at a small, rural, reproductive health clinic in Granby, Colorado. Since moving to Portland in 2007, she has worked in gynecology, obstetrics, reproductive health, and forensics. She strives to help patients feel comfortable and safe in the clinic setting, and empowered and supported to make informed healthcare decisions within the context of their personal, religious, and cultural beliefs.

Joy has received additional training as a sexual assault nurse examiner and continues to work as an on-call SANE for hospitals in the Portland Metro area.

Joy is happy to call Portland home and feels grateful to be living in such a beautiful part of the country with her husband, two kids, and their beloved and wacky dog.
